This Connecticut hotel is one of 'the best in New England', according to Travel + Leisure

Delamar Southport was voted one of the best New England hotels by Travel + Leisure readers in the travel magazine's "World's Best Awards" survey. Nearly 180,000 readers completed its 2025 survey, according to Travel + Leisure. A total of more than 657,000 votes were cast across 8,700 properties, such as hotels, cities, cruise lines and more.
Travel + Leisure classified hotels as either resort hotel, city hotel, inn or safari lodge based on their location and amenities. They were specifically rated on criteria such as rooms and facilities, location, service, food and value. Respondents could choose a rating of excellent, above average, average, below average or poor for each criterion. The final scores for each hotel are averages of readers' responses.
