Supporting Fairfield's Small Businesses
For local businesses, an unexpected move can bring significant challenges. For Clean Slate, formerly Catch a Healthy Habit Café, support from Fairfield’s Micro-Enterprise Assistance Program helped make the transition to its new home at 116 Sherman Street possible.
The grant helped offset the cost of new equipment and other expenses associated with preparing the new space, allowing this longtime Fairfield business to remain part of the community it has served for more than 20 years.
Clean Slate’s story is also an example of how Fairfield’s Micro-Enterprise Assistance Program supports local entrepreneurs and small businesses as they adapt, grow and invest in their future. Since the program began, the Town has assisted more than 60 small businesses through funding, training and technical assistance.
